Rural Beauty

I’ve been wanting to paint this lovely scene for a long while now. It caught my attention the minute I saw the beautiful photo by photographer Val.

I love country scenes, and even though it’s just a simple scene of a fence post and flowers, it has this pleasant beauty about it that draws me to it.

I love how it turned out.

My mom loved it too, so I’m gave it to her for Mother’s Day.
