Minterne Bridge

I’ve always had a fascination and love for bridges. As a child I always wished we had one of those small, garden bridges, over a pond, in the yard. One day perhaps, for now, I’ll just continue painting them.

I used a beautiful photo reference by Photographer Pauline West for this piece. Painted with a palette knife using acrylic on 5″ x 7″ canvas.

This is my 17th charity painting and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the “Voice For Children” charity in San Diego. https://www.speakupnow.org/ . Voices for Children transforms the lives of abused and neglected children by providing them with volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). They will review and monitor every court file in the system, provide a CASA to every child in the foster care system who needs one, advocate to improve the lives of foster children, and help to ensure that every child finds a safe and permanent home.

I’m thrilled to say, this painting has sold, to the lovely lady who brought this charity to my attention. So grateful.
