It was another beautiful out yesterday, sunny and breezy, so unlike today, cold and drizzly. I spent about an hour outside yesterday taking photos of this and that. Here are a few of them.
This was one of my first finds, a wasp that had just gotten caught in a spider web, it’s still alive but just can’t escape the spiders grip and web, sadly it never did. tee hee 😉
This is a honey bee that has obviously been very busy lately, its wings are a bit tattered.
This thrasher was just there, sitting on a tree branch looking at me, as I walked past.
There is lots of dandelion around these days, here the flower has gone to seed and now it’s time for the seeds to fly away and become their own plants with their own flowers.
Lots of dandelion fluff got caught in this web.
This is a small greenish fly of some sort that I usually see on sunflower plants.
I had seen a fly land on this cluster of flowers then saw it immediately fly away, then I looked closer and found out why, this spider was just sitting there with its arms outstretched just waiting for those insects to come.
Here is the fly still alive after escaping the spider just in time.
It’s that time of year again when the Texas Mountain Laurel begins to bloom. These are the best smelling flowers out there, unfortunately they only last a few days and only bloom once a year.
Citrus are in bloom right now, this is from an orange or tangerine, I can’t be sure.
More Citrus Flowers, this time in bud form.
I honestly can’t be certain of this flower, but it’s some kind of fruit tree.
Well time for me to get to doing other things.
