Wilson’s Winter Barn

Here we see my 5th winter scene painting. I decided to work on another palette knife one, and yes, another barn.

I had fun just throwing lots of colors in the sky, very different from the grey sky in the reference photo.

I changed the color of the barn to red again and added the fence in the foreground, I felt it needed something to help draw oneself into the painting.

Anyway, this was another easy one, took me only 2 hours from start to finish. Painted with a palette knife using acrylic on 8 x 10 canvas.

Photo reference used by photographer Bronna Wilson from PMP.

I might not have much time today, so now is when I’ll work on the 10 minute paintings. I can’t believe it’s already the 10th day, my, my, time is flying. I’m feeling older by the second. I must definitely catch up to 10 paintings in the next couple of days.

Catch ya later….
