I completed this little gem yesterday evening as part of this month’s winter scene 30/30 challenge.
I know I know, it’s super tiny, but being that I’m really low on canvases, I am trying to use up as many as I can until I have enough to order more. So this challenge will consist of all sizes of canvas.
This one is a small 2 x 2, which I thought might give me a bit of difficulty having to work so small, but I must say, it was really relaxing and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Took me only about 30 minutes to complete so I might do more in between some of my larger paintings when I need a bit of relaxing.
I’ll try different scenes other than winter scenes just to see what other subjects would work on a small canvas like this.
It will also give anyone interested in my artwork, who may not be able to afford a larger painting right now, a better chance of being able to purchase a piece of my art.
Photo reference but Photographer Susanne Lehmkuhl from PMP.
I am a bit behind on my challenge being that it is already the 4th and I’ve only done 2 paintings, but I’m sure to catch up in the next few days.
Time to work on my 3rd painting, which I will only say will include something that goes “neigh”.
Until next time…..
